New for 2007
The 2007 Jaguar X-TYPE is updated with a number of features including Dynamic Stability Control as
standard on all models, standard power tilt/slide moonroof and split/fold rear seats on 3.0 sedan,
and options include new 17-inch Bermuda-style alloy wheels, Bluetooth wireless technology for
mobile phone and SIRIUS satellite radio. Premium Sound Package becomes a stand-alone option
for the sedan. New optional “Luxury” package replaces both the VDP Package and Premium
packages on the 3.0 sedan with features including leather trimmed seats with contrast piping, bright
mirror caps, rear treadplates, Burl Walnut veneers, Reverse Park Control, 17-inch Belize-style wheels,
eight-way power passenger seat including two-way power driver/passenger lumbar, wood/leather-
trimmed steering wheel, auto headlights, electrochromic mirror, rain-sensing windshield wipers,
programmable garage door opener, message center and trip computer, and memory driver’s seat
and side mirrors.

sedan, but redesigned from the b-pillars back with new rear doors, a new roof, and a new rear body
structure.

The 2007 Jaguar X-TYPE Sportwagon is updated with more standard equipment including Reverse
Park Control, driver memory, premium sound, rain-sensing windshield wipers and wood/leather-
trimmed steering wheel, and new 17-inch Bermuda-style alloy wheels.

The S-TYPE is Jaguar’s sport sedan that traces its roots back to the original 1963 S-TYPE and
shares many styling cues including a small elliptical grille and quad headlights. The current S-TYPE
debuted as a 2000 model. The supercharged 390-horsepower S-TYPE R was added for 2003. The S-
TYPE is in its final model year for 2008 before the expected arrival of the all-new 2009 XF in March
2008.
New for 2008
In its final model year, the 2008 Jaguar S-TYPE receives new front-end styling for the 3.0 and 4.2 with
a deeper, more athletic front bumper that is adapted from the supercharged S-TYPE R. Both the 3.0
and 4.2 add standard 18-inch alloy wheels with 19-inch alloys as optional for the first time. For the S-
TYPE R, 19-inch “Barcelona” wheels become standard and Satin Mahogany veneer replaces gray-
stained Birdseye Maple gloss veneers. The last 750 S-TYPEs will be “Satin Edition” models with rich
Satin Mahogany veneers, leather-wrapped steering wheels and chrome/leather shifter.

The XJ Series is the flagship of Jaguar’s line of premium luxury sedans. All of the XJ sedans are
descendants of the classic S-type Jaguars of the late '50s and early '60s, with the first XJ sedan
debuting in 1968. Jaguar buyers have benefited from Ford's acquisition of Jaguar several years ago
that resulted in increased quality and reliability.
New for 2008
The 2008 Jaguar XJ Series gets a redesigned look with a revised front-end, new side power vents,
rear aero spoiler, full-width chrome “signature blade” and new rear bumper. Revised with an all-new
seat design, the interior also receives standard heated front seats, increased rear leg and foot room
thanks to redesigned front seat backs. New 19-inch Polaris, Vela and Carelia alloy wheels are
available and three new exteriors have been added. An upgraded Bluetooth system allows up to five
phones to be paired to the in-car telephone system.

The XK Series is Jaguar’s grand touring coupe and convertible. When the XK Series debuted as a
1997 model, the XK8 replaced the XJS, ending the 21-year run for the XJS. The XK8 was the spiritual
descendant of the legendary E-Type and XK120, and featured Jaguar’s first use of a V8 engine. The
supercharged XKR was added for 2000. An all-new model debuted for 2007 an advanced sports car
with an aluminum monocoque body structure that is 31 percent stiffer than its predecessor with a 10
percent improvement in power to weight ratio. For 2008 a limited edition XKR Portfolio joins the lineup.
New for 2008
After debuting an all-new version for 2007, the 2008 Jaguar XK adds a new special edition XKR
Portfolio to its lineup. Featuring unique exterior styling that includes 20-inch polished Cremona five-
spoke alloy wheels, the XKR Portfolio is also fitted with polished aluminum side power vents,
Celestial Black paint and a new high-performance braking system. Only 255 XKR Portfolios will be
available in the U.S. The XK receives an audio antenna that’s mounted in the rear spoiler, optional 19-
inch run-flat tires and a more luxurious headliner fabric. Four new convertible fabric roof colors are
available for the XK and XKR: gray, burgundy, green and dark beige.
